Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups water or milk
  • 1 apple, diced
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup

Instructions

  1. In a pot, bring water or milk to a boil.
  2. Stir in the rolled oats, grated carrot, diced apple, honey or maple syrup, and cinnamon.
  3. Reduce heat to low and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oats are cooked and creamy.
  4. Serve warm, adding any optional toppings as desired.

Notes

For a low-sugar alternative, omit the sweetener. Meal prep the dry ingredients in advance for convenience.
