- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1 apple, peeled and sliced
- 4 ounces white cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: honey for drizzling
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a floured surface and cut it into squares.
- Place a slice of apple and a pinch of shredded white cheddar cheese on each square.
- Fold the pastry squares over to form triangles and seal the edges with a fork.
- Brush the tops with the beaten egg and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Optionally, drizzle with honey before serving. Enjoy!
