Succulent meatballs made with lean ground chicken, parmesan cheese, and aromatic spices, baked to perfection for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, parsley, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs (about 1.5 inches in diameter) and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
  5. In the last 5 minutes of baking, spoon the marinara sauce over the meatballs and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
  6. Return to the oven and bake until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Serve warm with your choice of sides.

Notes

To enhance flavor, use fresh herbs. Avoid overmixing to keep meatballs light and tender.
