- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, parsley, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into meatballs (about 1.5 inches in diameter) and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
- In the last 5 minutes of baking, spoon the marinara sauce over the meatballs and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
- Return to the oven and bake until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Serve warm with your choice of sides.
Notes
To enhance flavor, use fresh herbs. Avoid overmixing to keep meatballs light and tender.
