  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 tsp peppermint extract
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, beat together softened butter and cream cheese until creamy. Gradually mix in granulated and powdered sugars until fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in peppermint extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour and baking soda. Gradually combine with the wet mixture until fully incorporated.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips gently.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets about two inches apart and bake for 10–12 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
