Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent.
- Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Stir in the chopped cabbage and cook until wilted, about 5-7 minutes.
- Season with salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes.
- For added protein, top with scrambled eggs or cooked plant-based strips before serving.
- Serve warm.
Notes
Slice the cabbage thin for faster wilting and use a wide skillet to allow the leaves to brown evenly. Adjust salt and pepper to taste and consider adding a splash of lemon juice before serving for an extra zing.
