Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Gradually add the flour, salt, cardamom, and orange zest, mixing until just combined.
- Roll the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Flatten each ball gently with the bottom of a glass.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- While the cookies are cooling, prepare the orange glaze by whisking together the powdered sugar and orange juice until smooth.
- Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cookies.
Notes
For a dairy-free option, use plant-based butter. Adjust the glaze consistency with additional orange juice or powdered sugar as needed.
