- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup crushed rice cereal
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter and chocolate chips together over low heat.
- Remove from heat and stir in the sugar, cocoa powder, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- Fold in the crushed rice cereal and nuts if using.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until set.
- Allow to cool, cut into bars, and enjoy!
