Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt in another bowl. Gradually add this to the creamed mixture and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped walnuts.
- Roll the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet, flattening each ball slightly.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges are firm.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
To enhance flavor, consider toasting the walnuts before adding them to the dough.
