- 1 box brownie mix (plus eggs, oil, and water as directed)
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 8 oz whipped topping (thawed)
- 18 golden sandwich cookies, finely crushed
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 8 oz whipped topping (for top layer)
- 1 cup Christmas red and green M&M’s
- 2 tablespoons red and white sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven according to the brownie mix box instructions and prepare the batter as directed. Pour into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Bake the brownies for 20–25 minutes and cool completely in the pan.
- In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth using an electric mixer.
- Fold in 8 oz of whipped topping for an airy texture.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled brownie and refrigerate for 15 to 30 minutes to set.
- Mix the crushed golden sandwich cookies with melted butter and press over the cream cheese layer.
- Spread the remaining 8 oz whipped topping over the cookie crumble. Decorate with M&M’s and optional sprinkles.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
