A delicious dish featuring tender chicken strips coated in crushed Cool Ranch Doritos for a tangy and cheesy flavor explosion.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless chicken breasts, cut into tenderloin strips
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 1 (12 oz) bag Cool Ranch Doritos, crushed
  • 1 cup flour
  • Optional: 1–2 Tbsp Ranch seasoning mix for extra flavor
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. Place chicken strips in a bowl and pour buttermilk over them. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
  2. Crush the Cool Ranch Doritos into fine crumbs using a food processor or a rolling pin.
  3. In a shallow dish, combine crushed Doritos, flour, and optional Ranch seasoning.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet or deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Remove chicken from buttermilk, letting excess drip off, and dredge in Doritos-flour mixture. Press gently to coat.
  6. Fry chicken strips in batches for about 3–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Drain cooked chicken tenders on paper towels and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For extra crunch, double-dip the chicken in buttermilk and then the Doritos mixture.
