  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup cranberry sauce or 1/3 cup chopped dried cranberries
  • Feta cheese (to taste)
  • Fresh herbs (e.g., chives, parsley, to taste)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a floured surface to prevent sticking.
  3. Evenly spread the softened cream cheese over the pastry.
  4. Layer a thin coating of cranberry sauce or sprinkle the chopped dried cranberries on top.
  5. Crumble feta cheese over the cranberry layer and sprinkle with freshly chopped herbs.
  6. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Carefully roll the pastry tightly into a log shape.
  8. Cut the log into pinwheels about 1-inch thick.
  9. Place the pinwheels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  10. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  11. Allow the pinwheels to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Keep an eye on your pinwheels as they bake; the puff pastry can go from golden to overdone quickly!
