- 1 box phyllo pastry dough
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 1-2 jalapenos, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Thaw the phyllo pastry dough according to package instructions. Layer a few sheets together, brushing each layer with olive oil.
- Cut the layered phyllo into squares and place them into a muffin tin to form cups.
- In a bowl, combine the cranberries, jalapenos, cream cheese, sugar, lime juice, and a pinch of salt until well blended.
- Spoon the mixture generously into each phyllo cup.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the phyllo is golden brown and crispy.
- Enjoy warm as a delightful appetizer.
Notes
Keep phyllo covered with a damp cloth while working to prevent drying. For added flakiness, use several layers of phyllo brushed with olive oil.
