  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1-2 jalapenos, finely chopped

  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Thaw the phyllo pastry dough according to package instructions. Layer a few sheets together, brushing each layer with olive oil.
  3. Cut the layered phyllo into squares and place them into a muffin tin to form cups.
  4. In a bowl, combine the cranberries, jalapenos, cream cheese, sugar, lime juice, and a pinch of salt until well blended.
  5. Spoon the mixture generously into each phyllo cup.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the phyllo is golden brown and crispy.

Notes

Keep phyllo covered with a damp cloth while working to prevent drying. For added flakiness, use several layers of phyllo brushed with olive oil.
