- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped

- 4 potatoes, peeled and diced

Instructions
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in the diced potatoes and beef broth. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot, topped with shredded cheese and green onions if desired.
Notes
You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option. Adding a splash of Worcestershire sauce for extra flavor enhances the soup.
