- 200g pasta of your choice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (400g) diced tomatoes
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add the diced tomatoes (with their juices) to the skillet and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the heavy cream and parmesan cheese until well combined. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add the cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing to coat the pasta evenly.
- Serve garnished with fresh basil.
Notes
Adjust the amount of garlic and tomatoes to suit personal preference. Ensure the cream is at room temperature before adding to avoid curdling.
