Deliciously crunchy dill pickle chips with a crispy coating, perfect as a snack or appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 1 jar dill pickles
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Slice the dill pickles into chips.
  2. Set up a breading station with one bowl for flour, one for beaten eggs, and one for breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip each pickle slice into flour, then into the egg, and finally into the breadcrumb mixture to coat.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Fry the coated pickle chips in batches until golden brown, about 2–3 minutes per side.
  6. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  7. Serve warm.

Notes

For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free flour and breadcrumbs. Vegan options are available by using a flaxseed mixture instead of eggs.
