Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt until combined.
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and powdered sugar until smooth and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract until fully integrated.
- Gradually add the dry flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing gently until just combined.
- Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, portion out dough onto a lined baking sheet, spaced about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Do not overmix and consider chilling the dough for better texture.
