Dark Chocolate Covered Cranberry Sauce Bites

Elegant and simple bite-sized desserts combining tart cranberry and rich dark chocolate.

Ingredients

  • 14 ounces jellied cranberry sauce
  • 16 ounces dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional)

Instructions

  1. Open the can of cranberry sauce and cut it into approximately ½” thick discs.
  2. Place the sauce rounds on a baking sheet lined with parchment or silicone mat and freeze for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Add dark chocolate chips and coconut oil to a microwave-safe bowl and heat for 1 minute on high.
  4. Stir and continue heating in 15-second increments until melted and smooth.
  5. Remove sauce from freezer and use a fork to submerge each slice completely in melted chocolate.
  6. Let excess chocolate drip off and place back on lined baking sheet.
  7. Repeat until all slices are coated.
  8. Return to freezer for about 30 minutes until chocolate is fully set. Enjoy!

Notes

Ensure cranberry rounds are fully frozen before dipping for easier coating. Use high-quality dark chocolate for best results.
