Ingredients

  • 8 oz sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup pimentos, diced
  • 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 cup chopped nuts or breadcrumbs (for coating)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese, softened cream cheese, diced pimentos, sliced green onions, and garlic powder.
  2. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste, then mix until well combined.
  3. Using your hands, scoop out small portions of the mixture and roll them into balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Roll each ball into the chopped nuts or breadcrumbs to coat it evenly.
  5. Place the coated cheese balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
