  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups Whole Milk (or almond/coconut milk for dairy-free)
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream (or coconut cream for dairy-free)
  • 1 cup White Chocolate Chips (or dairy-free white chocolate for vegan)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • Few drops Blue Food Coloring (gel food coloring recommended)
  • 1 cup Whipped Cream (or coconut whipped cream for dairy-free)
  • Festive Toppings (e.g. blue sprinkles, mini marshmallows)

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine milk and heavy cream and warm on low until small steam wisps appear; do not boil.
  2. Remove from heat and add white chocolate chips, stirring until melted and smooth; if needed, return to very low heat briefly.
  3. Stir in vanilla extract and a pinch of salt; add blue gel food coloring until desired shade is reached.
  4. Pour into warmed mugs, top with whipped cream, and finish with blue sprinkles or mini marshmallows.
  5. Serve immediately while warm.

Notes

Use a heavy-bottomed pan and low heat to melt white chocolate evenly. Gel food coloring is preferred for intensity without dilution.
