A comforting and savory dish featuring bowtie pasta tossed in garlic butter with browned beef and parmesan.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz bowtie pasta (farfalle)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook bowtie pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat if needed.
  3. Push beef to the side and add butter. Stir in garlic, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Cook until fragrant.
  4. Add pasta to the skillet and toss with beef and garlic butter.
  5. Stir in parmesan cheese, season with salt and pepper.
  6. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Keep pasta cooking times precise; farfalle should hold a slight bite. Reserve a splash of pasta water for a silkier sheen if desired.
