Ingredients
Scale
- 12 oz bowtie pasta (farfalle)
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Cook bowtie pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Push beef to the side and add butter. Stir in garlic, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Cook until fragrant.
- Add pasta to the skillet and toss with beef and garlic butter.
- Stir in parmesan cheese, season with salt and pepper.
- Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
Notes
Keep pasta cooking times precise; farfalle should hold a slight bite. Reserve a splash of pasta water for a silkier sheen if desired.
