A creamy and comforting bake featuring ground turkey, cottage cheese, and a crispy Parmesan topping.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 2 cups spinach (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes (canned or fresh)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until onions are translucent.
  3. Add ground turkey to the skillet and cook until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Stir in spinach and cook until wilted.
  5. In a baking dish, layer the cooked turkey mixture, cottage cheese, diced tomatoes, and mozzarella cheese.
  6. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For a fresh twist, consider adding lemon zest to the cottage cheese or sprinkle toasted pine nuts atop the Parmesan.
