  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak (flank, sirloin, or ribeye)
  • 1 bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 onion (sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fajita seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Garnishes: avocado, cilantro, lime wedges

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the steak with fajita seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the steak to the skillet and cook to desired doneness, about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare.
  4. Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest before slicing.
  5. In the same skillet, add sliced bell pepper and onion, cooking until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Slice the steak and serve in a bowl with the veggies.
  7. Top with avocado, cilantro, and a squeeze of lime.

Notes

Always preheat the skillet and let the steak rest before slicing for maximum juiciness.
