Ingredients
1 ½ lbs chicken tenders
1 cup buttermilk
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 cup all-purpose flour
½ cup cornstarch
Salt & pepper
Vegetable oil
½ cup unsalted butter
⅓ cup honey
1 tbsp hot sauce (optional)
Instructions
1. Combine buttermilk, spices, and tenders. Marinate.
2. Mix flour, cornstarch, salt.
3. Heat oil to 350°F.
4. Dredge tenders in flour mix.
5. Fry tenders until golden.
6. Melt butter, stir in honey and hot sauce.
7. Drizzle sauce over tenders and serve.
Notes
Double dredge for extra crisp.
Keep oil at correct temperature.
