Ingredients

  • 1 package egg roll wrappers
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup jalapenos, chopped (fresh or pickled)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, jalapenos, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Take an egg roll wrapper and place a spoonful of the filling in the center.
  3. Fold the sides over the filling and roll tightly to seal.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
  5. Fry the egg rolls until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.

Notes

For a lighter option, consider baking at 400°F for about 20 minutes. Experiment with different cheeses for added flavor.
