- 1 package egg roll wrappers
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup jalapenos, chopped (fresh or pickled)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, jalapenos, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Take an egg roll wrapper and place a spoonful of the filling in the center.
- Fold the sides over the filling and roll tightly to seal.
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
- Fry the egg rolls until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
Notes
For a lighter option, consider baking at 400°F for about 20 minutes. Experiment with different cheeses for added flavor.
