Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add mushrooms and cook until they are tender and moisture has evaporated.
  4. In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, sautéed mushrooms, heavy cream, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and top with shredded cheese.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
