A creamy, comforting one pot meal featuring diced chicken, cheese tortellini, and a buttery garlic sauce with a bit of heat.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cheese tortellini
  • 1 pound chicken breast, diced
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking until fragrant.
  2. Add the diced chicken to the pot, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  4. Add the cheese tortellini, stirring to combine. Cook for about 5 to 7 minutes, or until the tortellini are tender.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

Keep an eye on the garlic as it can turn bitter if it browns too quickly. Adjust seasoning to taste before serving.
