An elegant appetizer combining sweet pears, creamy Brie, and tangy cranberry sauce drizzled with thyme-infused honey.

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe pear, thinly sliced
  • 6 oz (170 g) Brie cheese, sliced
  • 2 tbsp cranberry sauce or relish
  • 1 baguette or crostini base
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the baguette into thin pieces and arrange them on a baking sheet.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the bread slices and bake for about 5-7 minutes until lightly toasted.
  4. While the crostini are toasting, prepare the thyme-infused honey by mixing honey and thyme in a small bowl.
  5. Remove the crostini when golden brown and layer each slice with Brie cheese, pear slices, and a dollop of cranberry sauce.
  6. Drizzle the thyme-infused honey over the top.
  7. Season with a sprinkle of salt and pepper, if desired.
  8. Serve immediately as an elegant appetizer.
