A festive and visually stunning pull-apart bread filled with savory pesto and melted cheese, perfect for holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound pizza dough
  • ½ cup pesto sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Flour (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. On a floured surface, roll out your pizza dough and cut it into triangles.
  3. Spread a small amount of pesto sauce on each triangle, then sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  4. Starting from the wide end of the triangle, roll it up tightly and bend it into the shape of a Christmas tree on a lined baking sheet.
  5. Brush the top of the tree with beaten egg for a golden crust.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before pulling apart to enjoy.
