- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 8 ounces sour cream
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned; drain excess fat.
- Stir in the tomato sauce and minced garlic, allowing it to simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Cook the egg noodles according to package directions, drain, and set aside.
- In a separate bowl, mix the cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
- In a large baking dish, combine the ground beef mixture with the drained noodles and cream cheese mixture, stirring until well blended.
- Top the casserole with shredded cheddar cheese evenly across the surface.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Allow the casserole to cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For gluten-free, use gluten-free pasta; for vegan, substitute ground beef with lentils and use plant-based alternatives for cream cheese and sour cream.
