A delightful treat combining silky whipped cream and bright peppermint shards, perfect for festive celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1 cup crushed peppermint candies or candy canes
  • Chocolate for coating (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  2. Gradually add powdered sugar and peppermint extract, continuing to whip until stiff peaks form.
  3. Fold in the crushed peppermint candies.
  4. Scoop the mixture into small mounds on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Freeze for at least 2 hours or until firm.
  6. (Optional) Dip the frozen mounds in melted chocolate and place back on the parchment paper to set.
  7. Serve frozen or chilled.

Notes

Use a chilled bowl and beaters for better whip texture. Reserve crushed candy to top each mound for visual appeal.
