- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1 cup crushed peppermint candies or candy canes
- Chocolate for coating (optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
- Gradually add powdered sugar and peppermint extract, continuing to whip until stiff peaks form.
- Fold in the crushed peppermint candies.
- Scoop the mixture into small mounds on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Freeze for at least 2 hours or until firm.
- (Optional) Dip the frozen mounds in melted chocolate and place back on the parchment paper to set.
- Serve frozen or chilled.
Notes
Use a chilled bowl and beaters for better whip texture. Reserve crushed candy to top each mound for visual appeal.
