- Tortillas for serving
- Fresh toppings: salsa, guacamole, shredded lettuce, cotija cheese
Instructions
- Place the chicken in the slow cooker.
- Add the salsa and taco seasoning to the pot.
- Optional: add black beans or corn.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours.
- Shred the chicken in the pot using two forks.
- Serve in tortillas and top with desired toppings.
Notes
Feel free to customize the recipe by using different types of salsa, beans, or tortillas. Leftover chicken can be used in quesadillas or burritos.
