- 8 oz smoked salmon, chopped
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped
- 1/4 cup capers, drained
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: 1/4 teaspoon lemon zest (for coating)
- Garnish: Additional smoked salmon slices
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, Dijon mustard, chopped smoked salmon, dill, capers, salt, and pepper. Stir until blended.
- Lay a large piece of plastic wrap on your countertop. Transfer the mixture onto the plastic and shape it into a log.
- Carefully roll the log in the plastic wrap, tightly sealing it. Refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours (or until firm).
- Once chilled, unwrap the log and roll it in lemon zest if desired. Place it on a serving platter and arrange additional smoked salmon slices on top.
- Cut into pieces and serve with your favorite crackers or fresh vegetables.
Notes
Use high-quality smoked salmon for the best flavor. Customize with different herbs if desired.
