Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz linguine
- 1 lb steak (such as sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Instructions
- Cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak pieces and season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Cook until browned and cooked to your liking, then remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic, broccoli, and mushrooms. Sauté until the vegetables are tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- Return the steak to the skillet, add the cooked linguine, and toss everything together.
- Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top, mix well, and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Serve hot.
Notes
Use a heavy skillet for a consistent sear. Avoid overcrowding the pan. Rest the dish off heat for a moment before serving to allow the cheese to set slightly.
