A deliciously balanced dish featuring caramelized cauliflower florets with a sweet glaze and a hint of spice, perfect as an elegant side.

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cauliflower florets, olive oil, honey or maple syrup, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
  3. Toss until the cauliflower is evenly coated.
  4. Spread the cauliflower on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, tossing halfway through.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired before serving.

Notes

For a vegan version, replace honey with maple syrup. Ensure even sizing of the florets for uniform cooking.
