Instructions
- In a bowl, mix sweet rice flour, sugar, and baking powder.
- Add milk, water, and vanilla extract, and stir until smooth.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Drop spoonfuls of the mixture into the hot oil, frying until golden brown on both sides.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Allow to cool slightly, then add desired toppings.
- Serve warm.
Notes
For a lighter option, swap dairy milk with almond, oat, or soy milk. Ensure oil temperature is consistent for best results.
