  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 (14-ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 (14-ounce) can black beans, drained and rinsed

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Boil the rotini pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Brown the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned; drain excess fat.
  3. Mix the Sauce: Add crushed tomatoes, salsa, taco seasoning, cumin, chili powder, and cayenne pepper to the skillet. Stir and simmer for 5-10 minutes.
  4. Incorporate Vegetables: Stir in corn and black beans, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  5. Combine with Pasta: Add cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to combine and coat well.
