A comforting bake that transforms Thanksgiving leftovers into a layered dish of savory turkey, stuffing, and creamy mushroom soup, topped with cheese.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded turkey
  • 2 cups stuffing
  • 1 cup cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: green beans or peas

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the shredded turkey, stuffing, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. If using, mix in green beans or peas.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish and sprinkle the cheese on top.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the casserole is hot and bubbly.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy your delicious leftovers!

Notes

Work with room-temperature turkey for even heating. Check that the filling isn’t dry and rest the casserole for 5 minutes before serving.
