  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving space for spreading.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.
  7. Let the cookies cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before transferring them to a wire rack.
  8. Once cooled, drizzle caramel sauce over each cookie, followed by a sprinkle of chocolate chips.
