Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving space for spreading.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.
- Let the cookies cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before transferring them to a wire rack.
- Once cooled, drizzle caramel sauce over each cookie, followed by a sprinkle of chocolate chips.
