Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 round loaf of bread
  • 1 wheel of Brie cheese
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the top off the bread loaf and hollow out the inside, leaving about 1-inch of bread around the sides.
  3. Place the Brie cheese inside the hollowed bread.
  4. Spread the cranberry sauce on top of the cheese and sprinkle with fresh thyme leaves, salt, and pepper.
  5. Drizzle olive oil over the top.
  6. Put the filled bread bowl on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the Brie is melted and bubbly.
  7. Serve warm with the bread pieces you removed for dipping.

Notes

Use your favorite cranberry sauce, and feel free to experiment with herbs like rosemary or sage. For extra richness, add some chopped nuts or sprinkle red pepper flakes for a bit of heat.
