- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare your baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the mixture and beat until fully combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, and crushed peppermint candies using a spatula.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For the best texture, be sure not to overmix the dough and keep an eye on baking time to avoid hard cookies.
