- 3-4 ripe avocados
- 1 loaf of artisan bread
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 lemons
- 1/4 cup of olive oil
- Optional toppings: cheese, eggs, bacon, tomatoes, spinach
Instructions
- Preheat your toaster or toaster oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Slice your bread into 1/2-inch thick slices.
- Brush the bread with olive oil on both sides.
- Toast the bread for about 10-12 minutes, or until it’s lightly browned and crispy.
- Mash your avocados in a bowl with a fork, adding a squeeze of lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Spread the avocado mixture onto the toasted bread.
- Add your preferred toppings and serve immediately.
