- 4 ripe peaches, sliced

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine the sliced peaches, granulated sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a large bowl. Toss until the peaches are evenly coated.
- Transfer the peach mixture to a 9×9-inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle the chopped pecans and rolled oats over the top of the peaches, if using.
- Bake the peach mixture for 30-40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the fruit is tender.
- Remove the dish from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
