Ingredients

  • 4 ripe peaches, sliced
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine the sliced peaches, granulated sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a large bowl. Toss until the peaches are evenly coated.
  3. Transfer the peach mixture to a 9×9-inch baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle the chopped pecans and rolled oats over the top of the peaches, if using.
  5. Bake the peach mixture for 30-40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the fruit is tender.
